Xiaosong (Sharon) Wu (Ph. D. Student)

Biographical Sketch

Xiaosong (Sharon) Wu received her B.E. degree in polymer materials and engineering in 1999 from Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology. She then spent a year working as research assistant in USTC High Tech company. She received her M.S. degree in Polymer Chemistry and Physics from University of Science and Technology of China in 2003. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. degree in Polymer, Textile and Fiber Engineering in Georgia Institute of Technology. Her research interest is developing polymer microfabrication technology for MEMS. Currently her research area focuses on fabricating micro hydraulic actuators and micro valve arrays driving the skeleton of the digital clay.
