Po-Chun (Kirk) Wang  (Ph. D. Student)

Biographical Sketch

Kirk grew up in Taiwan. He received his B.S. in Electronics Engineering from National Chiao-Tung University (Hsinchu, Taiwan) in 1997, and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Penn. State University (State College, PA) in 2002. After graduate school, he went back to Taiwan and worked as a product engineer at TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company) for five years. His work at TSMC involved failure analysis and device optimization of the silicon CMOS integrated circuit. In fall 2007, he came to Georgia Tech for his Ph.D. study and joined the MSMA group in January, 2008. He is currently working on the polymer microneedle project, which serve as a platform of various biological applications.
